"EMBARC is a non-profit organization, providing unique cultural experiences and interactions to high school students from Chicago’s most socially and economically isolated neighborhoods. The program forms partnerships with the public school system as well as local businesses and arts organizations in Chicago’s thriving cultural community. "

"OneGoal, formerly Urban Students Empowered, is an innovative college persistence program working to make college graduation possible for all students. As the country's only teacher-led college persistence organization, we identify, train and support our nation's most effective teachers to lead underperforming high school students to reach their full potential and graduate from college."

Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society
Mu Alpha Theta was formed in 1957 at the University of Oklahoma. We are dedicated to inspiring keen interest in mathematics, developing strong scholarship in the subject, and promoting the enjoyment of mathematics in high school and two-year college students. The organization of mathematics clubs serves over 112,000 student members in more than 2300 schools in the United States and 20 foreign countries. Offering more than $300,000 in scholarships, grants, awards, and prizes yearly, we would love to support your math club and talented math students
Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Society
Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Society is the only national organization for high school juniors and seniors that recognizes excellence in the field of Social Studies. Any accredited public or private high school can apply for a local chapter, through which individuals will be inducted into Rho Kappa Honor Society.
English Honor Society
The National English Honor Society (NEHS), founded and sponsored by Sigma Tau Delta, is the only national organization exclusively for high school students and faculty who, in the field of English, merit special note for past and current accomplishments. Individual high schools are invited to petition for a local chapter, through which individuals may be inducted into Society membership. Immediate benefits of affiliation will be national recognition, scholarship eligibility, and opportunities for national networking with others who share enthusiasm for, and accomplishment in, the language arts.
Science Honor Society
America has been honoring brilliant students through honor societies since 1921. Educators began to notice the need for subject specific honor societies in America’s high schools in the 1980's. Since then, new honor societies have sprung up to recognize and encourage students in such areas as English, Art, French, and Spanish. Until now, there has been no national honor society for Science. In this era of rapidly changing technologies and scientific advancement, it is time to encourage and recognize high school students in the Sciences.
National Honor Society
The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since its beginning in 1921.
